The CD-5 was a prologue. Sure, it's a blast to run and its sure handy to keep around, but it will always be a toy, to us anyway. We had different intentions with the CD-10. This time around, we set out to create the absolute most accurate, dependable, and fun bolt action option on the market.
In our quest to create the best that we can, we are manually machining each barrel out of Bartlein comparable* 416SS barrel blanks. This gives us the ability to reach new heights in terms of control and dependability. After machining and polishing the 11 degree "Target Crown", we have them stress relieved and then coated to normalize grain structure and tension. In our testing, this produces a barrel with a dramatically different "whip" and allows us to push the limits even further.
